WELCOME TO VISIT EDEN!

ON Oct.28 Americans Humpty Dumpty Institute and Northwest Mycological Consultants, Inc with secretary of MOFA came to visit Eden foundation. Eden foundation board member MR.YE welcomed the party of NGO leader and introduced Eden Foundation history and service with video. After being more familiar with Eden foundation development and status, guests showed interest in Eden foundation international affair. Especially Humpty Dumpty Institute involved in anti-mine action as Eden did. Humpty Dumpty Institute President MR. Cwerman addressed that their program not only removed mine but cultivated fungi in Vietnam,which reconstructs victims' lives and vitalize whole community. Besides they also put emphasis on girls' basic education, then discussing with the director of International Development Division MR. Lin about future cooperation. Then the party visitd two centers in Eden Foundation headquarter ; one is Eden Club House, which served people with mental disorder.And the other is Wang-Fang Center ,which provides talented disabled people with lessons about painting skills In Eden Club House Staff here introduced the service process In Wang-Fang Center Guest admired the beautiful patinting

“Riding with Hope” Cycling Round Island Charity Trip

Eden and Nan Shan Life Insurance Company raising funds for people with disabilitiesCycling round Taiwan Island is a dream of many among us, but this is a dream too far away for people with disabilities. In order to find the lost mobility for them, Eden and Nan Shan Life Insurance Company co-organized again “Riding with Hope” cycling round island charity trip. This year, 50 participants cycled around Taiwan in 12 days to raise funds for people with disabilities.
From Sep. 20th to Oct. 1st, the “Riding with Hope” Cycling Round Island Charity Trip raised funds for the “Finding the Lost Mobility Fund Raising Project” which aims to collect funds for assistive technologies like white cane, wheelchair and accessible bus. The project’s goal is to raise 10 million NTD; so far we have raised 6 million NTD and will need more support from the society.
